The Writers’ Group

The Writers Group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:45 - 9:00 PM. Until the COVID-19 crisis has passed, we’ll meet on zoom at: https://tinyurl.com/NCTC-Writers-Group

This is a password-protected meeting open to New Circle Theatre Company members, associate artists, and invited guests. The password and above link are emailed to members each week.

 TO SCHEDULE A READING TIME

1. Bookmark this page (the page you’re on now) for future use: https://www.newcircletheatrecompany.org/writersgroup

2. On this page, scroll down to the list of possible dates and times below.  Select one.  New writers need to participate in at least 2 Wednesday meetings BEFORE signing up to be read.

3. Writers, please sign up for slots on non-consecutive weeks. We want everyone to have an opportunity to share work.

4. Aim for no longer than 10 minutes of stage time.  This does not necessarily equal 10 pages.

5. On the night you scheduled to have work read: Please join the zoom meeting at 6:45 to email a copy of your script as a pdf document to the host that night for sharing.

6. If you have to cancel, please go to the Appointment Reminder email that confirmed your slot and click on the Change/Cancel Appointment button
