New Circle Theatre Company relies on its members to volunteer their time on committees. Below is a list of current committees. If you’d like to join one (or more), or even if you’re not sure which one to join, please send an email expressing your interest and your skills that you might bring to a committee to: leadership@newcircletheatrecompany.org

MEMBERSHIP: develops policies about membership; helps maintain mailing list; helps resolve internal membership issues.


ZOOM PRODUCING: during the pandemic, this committee handles the technical details of producing in the Zoom platform.


MAINTENANCE/CLEANING: keeps our facility on West 44th St. clean


SOCIAL ACTIVISM: plans and coordinates activities around social activism.


FUNDRAISING: plans and coordinates fundraising activities.

Subcommittee: GRANT RESEARCH: investigates grant opportunities for the company


WEBSITE AND MEDIA MANAGEMENT: maintains and updates the company website, social media, and company history.

Subcommittee: Documentation: documenting and maintaining the historical records, both written and visual, of the company.

Subcommittee: Social Media: posts company news and photos on social media platforms, including FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram.

STRATEGIC PLANNING: develops and implements long-range planning for the company’s future.


EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH: develops and maintains connections with educational institutions; plans classes and educational workshops.


AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT: develops and implements methods of increasing our audiences.


LITERARY COMMITTEE: reads and evaluates play submissions to the company.


MONDAY SCHEDULING: coordinates and schedules the Monday Company Meetings.

In addition, we have a group of people who provide technical help under David Kronick's leadership, and Kimmarie Bowens coordinates House Managers/Ushers when we have live productions.
